HI I’M LINDA HAMEL 

I have been an educator in the Mission Public School District since 1989. I have been a teacher at all levels from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Over the past 15 years, I have been an educational leader in my role as vice-principal/principal in Mission schools (elementary, middle and secondary). My work focused on making a significant impact on the lives of students and their families. I’m looking forward to applying the experience and skills I’ve obtained in my career  as an educator for 32 years as an elected School Trustee for MPSD. I am a creative problem solver and innovative thinker. I possess strong leadership skills and can thrive independently as well as in a team environment.

My three adult children attended and graduated from Mission schools. They received an excellent education from the dedicated staff of MPSD. My goal is to ensure that all students have the opportunity to learn in an effective, supportive and safe school environment.
